Pokhara, despite of being at the altitude of just 800m offers the best panoramic Himalayan views. Bardia National Park, dense woodland and grassland nestling far west of Nepal in isolation is less frequented wildlife park. The park allows experiencing higher degree of forest adventure compared to any other parks in Nepal. But before kicking off the trip to these exceptional destinations, you will explore the Nepalese capital, which is worldwide admired destination for cultural opulence.The Wildlife and Nature Tour with Access Nepal brings you the city of nature’s paramount before, Pokhara and Buddha’s birthplace, Lumbini en-route to Bardai National Park. Mystical caves, legendary falls, serene lakes, deep-seated gorges and Himalayan panorama are dazzling highlights in Pokhara. Similarly, feel the eternal peace while visiting UNESCO World Heritage Site Lumbini.Access Nepal Nature and Wildlife Tour travels almost 500km to get to Bardia National Park via Pokhara and Lumbini. The largest and the most isolated National Park in Nepal’s lowland covers total area of 968 sq. km. Established in 1988 the park banks Karnali River to the East whereas; Babai River runs penetrating this dense woodlands. The park has the balance mixture of grasslands, marshlands and riverine forests. It is the protected home to more than 840 floral species and 642 faunal species. The endangered mammal species including Rhino, Bengal Tiger and Gangetic Dolphin as well as rarely frequented bird’s species like Bengal florican, white-rumped vulture and bar-headed geese can be sighted during wildlife activity at the park.

Full Itinerary

Actually, Nepal opens in the air; just before the plane lands at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. If you are, lucky enough with the bright sunshine on your arrival day the wide range of soaring Himalayan Peaks to the North is a magnificent view. As you complete the immigration formalities of the airport and make your way out from the Arrivals Terminal, we would offer you a warm Nepalese welcome and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel in a private vehicle. At hotel, you will have a very easy check-in procedure. Let the flight exhaustion go off in the cozy hotel room. In the evening, we will offer you a welcome dinner in one of the finest cultural restaurants of the city.Included: Airport pick-up, Accommodation in Kathmandu hotel

After the breakfast, we will escort you to Pashupatinath- the largest Hindu Temple of Nepal in a private vehicle. The temple dedicated to supreme Hindu God, Shiva banks Bagmati River. At Pashupatinath you will get to see exceptionally carved statues and idols of Hindu deities, a long row of Shiva-Lingas, series of small temples and the golden hood at the top of main Temple is truly fascinating. Moreover, an opportunity to witness the Hindu Death ritual at Aryaghat Pashupatinath is an offbeat cultural experience. After the exploration of Pashupatinath we will walk along the busy streets of Kathmandu to Boudhanath. A large domed shaped Buddhist stupa, Boudhanath holds huge religious significance among the Tibetan Buddhists of Nepal. A major shrine on ancient Indo-China trade route Boudhanath offered blessings to traders and scholars for safe journey through the high Himalayan passes to Tibet. Saffron robed monks circumambulating Boudhanath, colorful prayer flags touching the skyline from the dome pinnacle to the base of large monument and the and outlets selling Tibetan souvenirs makes this place a true Tibet outside Tibet.Post lunch the sightseeing tour continues to Kathmandu Durbar Square. The exemplary wooden and stone craftsmanship at the site makes a place the prominent attraction for tourists. The stone paved streets, pagoda style religious monuments inclusive different Hindu deities are the cultural delights of ancient and medieval Nepal at Kathmandu Durbar Square. Today’s final destination for sightseeing tour in Kathmandu takes you to Swayambhunath. A self emerged Buddhist stupa lies on a hilltop overlooking Kathmandu with its watchful eyes. You will get to experience more about Tibetan Buddhism at Swayambhunath. After the full day sightseeing tour, a private vehicle will escort you to your hotel.Day sightseeing and Kathmandu Hotel with breakfast is included

After the breakfast, you will begin your journey towards Pokhara in a tourist bus. The ride to Pokhara is  on a snakelike highway, which winds on the cliff above Himalayan Rivers like Trishuli, Marsyangdi and Seti. Six to seven hours of road journey will bring you to Pokhara. Pokhara is an enchanting town known for its unique geographical formation. Lakes, caves, gorges, hilltops and the views of mesmerizing Annapurna Himalayan Range and matchless Fishtail are exceptional highlights of Pokhara. On your arrival at Pokhara you will be transferred to your hotel in the city. Then you set out to explore the lakeside in the city.  Overnight in Pokhara.Accommodation at Pokhara with breakfast

Today, we will spend a spelendid day in Pokhara. Early morning, we wake up early (pre dawn) and drive to Sarangkot. Sarangkot is a hilltop overlokking Pokhara, which caters magnificent sunrise view. The view of Himalayan Ranges that include Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Mt. Fishtail look mesmerizingly beautiful from Sarangkot. Sarangkot is 20-25minutes drive from your hotel in Pokhara. After the sunrise view from Sarngkot, we drive back to hotel. In the afternoon, we continue to explore Pokhara. The mystical Davis Fall, underneath Mahendra and Bat Caves, deep-seated Seti River Gorge and of course the fantastically indelible boating at crystal clear Fewa Lake are the most highlighted must watch destinations of Pokhara. We visit the Mountaineering Museum in Pokhara, which holds the history and culture of several ethnical tribes of the region. We will also visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp in Hemja, where you can witness the thriving Tibetan Culture. In the evening, we will have a boating session over Fewa Lake before we walk back to our hotel.Accommodation at Pokhara with breakfast

Today, we will drive along the most twisted highway in Nepal, Siddhartha Highway. 180 km of journey on the highway takes a lunch break at beautifully nestled hill town Tansen. Historically important town Tansen has a historical palace on a Srinagar Hill that overlooks the town 24/7. Explore around and continue the drive towards Lumbini. On arriving at Butwal, the entire scenario in the vicinity changes. Now we do not see high hills. Welcome to lowland Terai. An hour long drive from Butwal would bring us to Lumbini. Amidst the beautiful Lumbini Garden, famous Mayadevi Temple (Temple dedicated to mother of Buddha), Puskarani Pond (the pond where Buddha took his first ritual dip), famous Ashoka Pillars (pillars erected by great Emperor  Ashoka in 269 BC), remains of Buddhist viharas and stupas from 3rd century BC. to 15th century AD. and modern Monastic zone (several monasteries built by the government of different countries) are worthwhile sites to explore in Lumbini. After day’s exploration, we will drive back to our hotel, enjoy our lunch and resume our drive towards Bardia.  Six hours of raod journey on the stretch of Mahendra Highway would bring us to Bardia National park. On our arrival we will be transferred to our resort in the park and enjoy our dinner and go to bed.Half day safari at Bardia National Park with full board of meals and accommodation

Early morning, we wake up with the wakeup call, drink a  cup of hot tea/coffee  served with choice of your breakfast and set off for the Elephant Safari. The Safari, which goes deep into the woods of Bardai National Park is an excellent opportunity to see Asian Elephant, Great One Horn Rhinoceros, Spotted Deer or Chital, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, Samber, Swamp Deer (Barasingha), Nilgai (Bull), Black Buck, Wild Boar, Leopard, Wild Dog, Golden Jackal, Striped Hyena and even Royal Bengal Tiger.The safari ends at the resort. Before lunch we can  leisurely relax playing a game or billiards with your friends or just spend a few quiet moments in our library with a book. After your refreshment and little rest, you will be served with hot Lunch.After lunch at resort, we go for Jungle walk which is an excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals and birds and  to have the wild sightseeing from the Tower (Machan), accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker. Excellent photographic opportunities are plentiful. In the evening , we can enjoy with Tharu cultural dance, which is presented by the local villagers in which you can also participate. After the cultural program, it’s time for Dinner. Stay overnight at resort in Bardia National Park.Full day safari at Bardia with full board of meals and accommodation

Today as well, wake up early, enjoy the breakfast and begin the wildlife activity. Today, we drive to the rafting point. White water rafting at Bardia is a scenic floating trip, which goes through exciting rapids, deep gorges forested hillsides and remote villages. This would be, an excellent opportunity for bird watching. Rafting will last by 3-4 hrs  and during the period pack lunch will be provided. After rafting, in the afternoon,  it is time for Jeep drive, which will provide you an excellent opportunity to see many wild animals, as the drive goes deeper into the woods. After the jungle drive, we will head back to resort and can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.. Evening we enjoy our dinner and Stay overnight at resort at Bardia.Full day safari at Bardia with full board of meals and accommodation

Enjoy the morning with cup of hot tea or coffee then breakfast.  Explore around the resort till the departure time. We will drive to Nepalgunj by car and board a plane to Kathmandu. On arriving Kathmandu, we will transfer you to your hotel. The afternoon is a free time for you to revisit the place you prefer, travel on your own to a new place, wonder around Thamel hunting souvenirs or simply stay your hotel. In the evening, we will enjoy a farewell dinner in a cultural restaurant together.Kathmandu Hotel accommodation with breakfast is included

As per your flight schedule, you will drive with our representative to the airport in a private vehicle. Have a safe flight and visit Nepal time and again.Departure transfer with breakfast is included
