Trip Overview
Mardi Himal Trek is one of the most successful and lucrative trekking routes of Nepal. Blessing with the views of heavenly snowcapped mountains, this trek surely makes visitors want to visit again and again. The breathtaking Mardi perspective puts Gangapurna (7,454m), Himchuli (6,441m), Machhapuchchhre or Fishtail (6,997m), Annapurna III (7,555m), , and Mardi (5,553m) in your direct line of sight. If you’ve never seen the Himalayas before, you’ve come to the right location. This trek is not only comparatively easier, but also summarizes Nepalese culture, terrain, mountainous views, foods and off course the heartwarming Nepalese citizens. Come and join us in this phenomenal trip to the Mardi Base Camp. The trek kicks off with around 7 hours of driving to the bustling lakeside city of Pokhara. The nightlife, clubs, mountain views, boating, paragliding, hot air balloons, lakeside walks and sightseeing, the city which can also be called as “capital of Tourism” in Nepal provides you with more activities and adventures than you can think of. We officially begin our trek via a short drive to Phedi and 3 to 4 hours of hike to Pothana. Everyday we gain a little bit of altitude and stay in remote destinations every night i.e. Forest Camp, High Camp and finally to Mardi Base Camp. We’ll be staying in a local lodge and teahouses that we can find all the way to the base camp. During the forest hikes, if you’re specially hiking during the time of “April-May”, you also get to see the fascinating national flower of Nepal- “Rhododendron”.
