I have just come back from the Everest Base Camp trek with Blissful Nepal. It was a solo trekking trip starting in first week of Nov 2024. I was extremely... read more lucky to get perfect weather with crystal clear blue skies every day of the trip. The views were stunning, magnificent and the Nepalese hospitality was just outstanding. All in all, it was an exhilirating experience that exceeded my expectation on many fronts.
From start to finish, the entire journey was organized very well, including the breaks. Accommodation was generally good, keeping in view the high altitude. My guide, Raj, ensured that every detail was taken care of. He is knowledgeable of the EBC route as well as the weather conditions, is hugely friendly and supportive throughout the trek.
The itinerary selected for EBC Trek is excellent, it allows sufficient time for acclimatisation. The views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho You, Ama Dablam were stunningly magnificent. Even the treks selected for off-days lead to breathtaking views. My guide has excellent photography skills and is keen to take pictures. Consequently, I have got a collection excellent photos and videos, a treasure that could not have been collected without him.
Food exceeded my expectations given the remote location, I was peasanly surprised to get freshly baked Cinnamon Roll at a bakery in Dinboche and that was a lovely treat. My guide and Blissfull Nepal truly went the extra mile to ensure despite high altitude, I not have a comfortable journey but also have memorable moments.
EBC is popular experience for 60-70K trekkers every year. From this perspective, at least in my opinion, the facilities at Milingo and Gorakshape deserve to be better and improved in line with the Tea Houses at other places.
When I got into concerns about my O2 levels and high altitude sickness, both the guide on ground as well as Blissful Nepal handled it professionally. Once the concerns were dealt with, I not only completed my EBC trek, actually I did it in style. My guide's advise to visit Kala Pathar Half Way Point after EBC Trek provided me opportunity to witness the majestic Mount Everest soaked in the rays of evening sun and allowed my to capture all this in a Time Lapse Video - a rare treasure for lifetime.
I was super impressed with the way Blissful Nepal handled the flights and transfer from Kathmandu to Lukla and back, thank them profusely for this aspect itself. As a result, I had an outstanding EBC Trek without any delays and look forward to visit Nepal on another trek with my family.
The father and son team at Blissful Nepal is doing an outstanding job of listening to their customers, ensuring that their choices and needs are catered for and that the whole experience is wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend Blissful Nepal for treks / holidays in Nepal.

I never had to worry about a thing since all was very well planned by Mr Jhalak in advance. Not forgetting to mention that it was perfectly executed by his guide Mr Garba. Dal bhat they say is recommended but you shall get bored of it in a couple days if you start having it everyday. Trekking to Everest Base Camp is no small feat — but doing it with Blissful Nepal Treks made it an experience we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.

From the very beginning, Jhalak (aka Uncle JJ) ensured that every detail was perfectly handled. Whether it was managing our flights to Lukla during unpredictable weather or making last-minute arrangements with flawless calm, Uncle JJ always had our backs. His leadership was reassuring, professional, and full of heart.
Krishna, our assistant guide, was just as incredible — always by our side during the steepest climbs, offering encouragement, helping with gear, and moving with the smooth confidence of someone born for the trail.
We also want to thank Sudhir, who supported us with logistics and gear and made sure everyone had what they needed before heading up the mountain. His kindness and efficiency did not go unnoticed.
There were challenges — mud, altitude, night hiking, and more yak poop than we expected — but every single obstacle was met with patience and teamwork. Thanks to Blissful Nepal, we became the first group from Florida International University (FIU) to ever reach Everest Base Camp.
We’re proud of that. But we’re even more grateful to have had a team like this helping us get there.
Highly recommend Blissful Nepal Treks to anyone looking for a trustworthy, experienced, and truly caring group to guide them into the Himalayas.
